I have been teaching for 10 years within the Archdiocese of Chicago.  I have taught in grades K-2 and I have found that each grade has a special quality about them.  I love meeting the students and working along side the teachers at St. Damian. Second grade is a special year on so many levels.  We'll grow closer to God as we prepare for 2 special memories in Reconciliation and First Holy Communion and we'll also learn how to write in cursive. 

When I am not teaching, I love to read, swim, scrapbook and travel with my son Tony.  One of the most memorable trips so far that we have had has been to Alaska.  Contact Mrs. Smith
